Outside, the garden is a real treat after a long day’s adventures, with a sheltered patio area, a wood-fired hot tub, and a traditional BBQ Kota for the all-year-round grilling experience. Whether you’re walking the nearby shoreline, discovering local eateries, or simply unwinding in the hot tub beneath the Skye sky, Tigh Fen provides the perfect base to experience the island in comfort and style
The garden of delights
Whilst you are out during the day exploring the beauty and enjoying the sites, possibly hiking up and down the fairy pools.
Our garden is waiting to provide the evening relaxation you need.
Wood fired hot tub
Our large wood fired hot tub has steps up to it, air and water jets for relaxing the muscles. LED lighting with changing colours for effect.
There is a solar heated shower for rinsing off before and after - but we cannot guarantee hot water, it is Scotland after all. Sheltered from the neighbours, sink into the warm water and hopefully watch the stars.
We have bags of wood available on site, which are paid for by an honesty box. Hot tub supplied and fitted by Heavenly Hot Tubs.
Our BBQ Kota
IWhilst the hot tub is heating up, make yourself cosy in the Kota, for all year round BBQ food.
There is a fridge in there to store drinks and food and small food prep area.
Entertain yourselves with our dart board at the end of the Kota as well.
We can arrange for the local butchers to prepare a food package to suit your needs and be there on arrival. Please contact us for more information.
Garden Telescope
The Isle of Skye is well known for its dark skies. We have a garden telescope for the use of the guests. If you are lucky, you will be able to witness the aurora or northern lights.
Please bear in mind, it does not always go dark during the summer months.
